A woman with an inoperable brain tumour is spending £40,000 on plastic surgery – so she can die looking like movie star Demi Moore.
Lisa Connell, 29, will use the money her mum Angela had saved up for Lisa’s wedding to pay for her new look.
“I’ve always dreamed of looking like Demi Moore and I’m determined that when I die I will,” she said.
Despite being a stunning brunette, Lisa has never been happy with her appearance and is convinced the surgery will make her look as beautiful as Demi, who is no stranger to cosmetic surgery herself.
She added: “People think I’m crazy for wanting to do this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier. I want to die beautiful. This is my way of getting the control back in my life.”
In a race against time, Lisa will undergo liposuction, a breast enhancement and eyebrow lift, plus work on her skin and teeth to fulfil her dream.
But mum Angela, 48, said: “I really don’t want Lisa to put herself through this. She is a beautiful girl and she doesn’t need the surgery.
“It was really hard for me to accept when she said she wanted to do this but she is my daughter, I love her and I want to bring joy to her life for however long she may have left.”
Lisa was just 27 when her life fell apart after she was told she had an inoperable brain tumour known as a meningioma.
The tumour was diagnosed after she had a miscarriage in 2006. Lisa had been suffering painful headaches and loss of sight in her left eye when she was pregnant and both conditions worsened after she lost the baby.
A scan at London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital showed she had a large tumour in the centre of her brain. It’s not cancerous, but because of its position it can never be removed.
After the diagnosis, Lisa, of Barnet, North London, attempted suicide twice as she struggled to get her life back on track.
Lisa said: “It is like living with a ticking time bomb. No specialist can tell me how long I have to live. I was so desperate I even tried to overdose on sleeping tablets.”

I don’t understand that people who want to take plastic surgery, because I don’t want my parents to be sad. Even though you are not good-looking, you mustn’t do that, I think.

The important things in life(revised)
These days, it seems, we don't care about family, our own culture, or friends. So we should reconsider these things now.The movie of Lilo and Stitch makes us think that what we are doing now.
Do you talk with your family recently? Do you have dinner with your family? Do you feel family's love recently? Maybe there are a few people that answer "yes!” Almost every university students do part-time job at night, and high school students have dinner with friends.
I often hear my friends saying or people say saying that their father and their mother are so disgusting, or their sister is so irritating and they don't want to go home. Are these good things? Their families surely think and worry about them, and they also should be so.
You should go home when your classes finish, and have dinner with your family at least once a week. If your family didn't exist, you may be not here. You should have family time. You cannot live without your family, so you should care your family and love them and have family time.
What do they think about their culture? Do they really want to tell their culture to other country people? Almost everyone doesn’t think his or her culture. This movie gives you affection for their culture. Their culture has many good points, and it is really beautiful. They surely become a person who wants to tell other own culture after watch this movie. This movie teaches them the importance of our culture and culture is beautiful in that Lilo and her sister Nani love their culture and tell the monster to their culture.

My opinion
I think that cellular phone user should think about others when they use their phones in public. First of all, for example, what do you think the person next to you is talking on the phone when you are in the bus? I hate the people who talk in the bus. It’s noisy, there are many people in the bus, some people are sleeping, and others are reading something. Not only sleeping people and reading people but also the people in the bus want others to be quiet.
I saw the person who talked on the cellular phone in the hospital the other day. I was very surprised to see it, and I thought he is self-centered. There is much medical equipment in the hospital, and then cellular phone is influential to these. There are many people who use pacemaker in the hospital, too. Cellular phone is also influential to pacemaker, so I think that using cellular phone in the hospital is not good for other people.
Another reason cellular phone user should think about the others is that it is so nuisance for people who watching movie. Once, I went to movie with my friends, the man sit next to me, and his cellular phone rang the middle of the movie. Everyone in the movie theater looked him, and I couldn’t concentrate the story at all. I felt very nuisance then, and I also feel annoyance. Using cellular phone can be nuisance in public, so I think cellular phone user should think about others when they use their phones in public.（278words）

Exchange student exam
I applied exchange student exams, because I went to NZ last March and I think NZ is best place to study English. So, I have studied TOEFL since I come back to Japan. TOEFL is too difficult for me. Listening comprehension and Reading comprehension is so difficult. I have two exams, interview test in English and in Japanese. I don't think that I can tell examiner to my passion for studying abroad. But I will work hard to go to NZ!(85 words)

I was so shocked.
I work at McDonald's, but I read very surprising news, and I really don't want to have its food. The news is that.
Critics say top fast-food restaurants have pulled a fast one on consumers. The easteries promised to reduce the cholesterol in their foods by cooking in vegetable oil instead of beef fat. But a consumer watchdog group says the restaurant aren't living up to thir claims.
No one ever said French fries were healthy. But three years ago, fast-food chains announced they were switching from cooking them in beef fat, which is bad for your heart, to 100% vegetable oil, which is low in saturated fat. Now a consumer group says the fries are not cooked in 100% vegetable oil but vegetable shortening, also called hydrogenated shortening, which is just about as unhealthy as beef fat.
Hydrogenated shortening is not vegetable oil, and the difference is measured in clogged arteries and coronay heart disease, the number-one killer in America today.
Hydrogenation is type ofprocess that turns oil into a har form, similar to stick margarine. Recent studies have shown the process produces something cakked transfatty acids, which raise cholesterol levels much the way saturated fat does. The consumer group, which analyzed more than 30 foods made with vegetable fat, says companies like using shortening because it has a longer shelf life, but should stop the practice.
Fast-food French fries have up to seven times more heart-unhealthy fat than if they were cooked in real vegetable oil.
The group says Burger King's fries have the highest level of heart-unhealthy fat, 58% more than when they were fried in beef fat. The group adds that the fries in a McDonald's "Happy Meal" have twice as much heart-unhealthy fat as a Big mac. Spoleman for McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chikin, and BUrger king still maintain they use 100% vegetable oil because, when it's in the fryer, it becomes a liquid. But the consumer group says that's like calling melt butter an oil.

My friends time
Last month I went to Karaoke with my friends. They have some troubles about their life, from my point of view, their trouble doesn't big deal. But we are all depressed and singing sad song. We drunk too much, and cheating all the time. But we keep singing 5 hours. It was so interesting, but we exhaust. We spent about 6 hours there, after that we went to HikarinoMori then we went home.

I watched Lilo and Stitch that is Disney's movie. It is so impressive. These days, we don't care about family, our own culture, and friends. We should reconsider what we think now about these things. This movie makes us think what we are now.
Do you talk with your family recently? Do you have dinner with your family? Do you feel family's love recently? Maybe there is a few people that answer "yes!” Almost every university student do part-time job at night, and high school student has lunch with friends.
I often hear my friends say or people say that my father and my mother are so disgusting, or my sister is so irritate and I don't want to go home. Are these good things? Your families surely think and worry about you, and you also should be so.
You should go home when your classes finish, and have dinner with your family. I don't think you should do everyday, but at least once a week. If your family didn't exist, you were not here. You should have "family time". You cannot live without your family, so you should care your family and love them and have "family time".
What do you think about your culture? Do you really want to tell your culture to other country people? Almost everyone doesn’t think his or her culture. This movie gives you affection for your culture. Your culture has many good points, and it is really beautiful. You surely become a person who wants to tell other own culture after watch this movie. This movie teaches us the importance of our culture and culture is beautiful.

Hello. Let me introduce about university life. These days, more and more people go to university. It is become normally to go to there recently. At university there are many students and they really enjoying their life one's way. They are so different way to spend university life, some are studying harder, others are keen on spending in clubs, so tell you about student university life.
Firstly, there is several ways for them to come to school. Some students come to school by bicycle, so the most universities have parking lot for bicycles. There are many bicycles there and also student who come to school by motor bike park in parking lot for motor bikes. Other students come to school by on foot. These guys almost live in dormitory or live in near their university. There are also many students who come to university by car, these guys live in far from their university, so there is several ways to come to school.
Secondly, at lunch time, students also have many way to eating. Some student bring lunchbox to the school, these guys live with their parents, dormitory students and living alone students rarely bring lunchbox. Other students buy some food in the bakery or Gakusyoku or convenience store. These students are the most seen in university, so you can see several ways for their lunch in the university.
Finally, students' thinking is different. Some students study very hard. They study many things in the library or bakery, anywhere. IN the university there is much equipment to improve student's skills; they use it and studying harder. Other students are keen on doing activities in their club. They really enjoy their activities and make a good memory for the future. Thus, in university there are many way to spend their students' life.
